失焦

有時候,因為眼睛未對好焦距,看東西會矇矓一片。定一定神,調好焦距,世界突然清晰過來。

這時候才覺得:我看清楚了。

但想深一層,什麼是清楚。

一般的想法是,世界本來就是一個樣子,改變的只是我們的視角。

焦距不對,所以看不清原來的樣子。

但是,我們所謂清楚看到的世界,便是它的「真身」嗎?

假設一個人天生便有近視,在還沒有眼鏡的時代,他看的世界,本就是矇矓一片。

在他而言,世界的樣子,本來便應該這樣。

又或者倒過來說,如果全世界所有人都天生近視,當突然有一個人「視力正常」,他看的世界,應該就是錯的,不清楚的世界。

這個情況也適用於患有色盲,甚至本來生來便失明的人。他們所感知的世界,並不是我們心目中理所當然的那一個。

又或者一些動物,他們靠熱力或者紅外線去「看」世界,難道他們的世界也是錯的?

理論上是同一個世界,但是它給不同的接收者截然不同的呈現。

有些情況下,一方根本不可能向另一方解釋他的世界究竟是怎麼的一個樣子,而另一方亦不可能了解得到。舉個例子,你試試解釋什麼是紅色給一個天生盲人知道。

這個世界究竟是什麼樣子,好像視乎看的是誰。
